truth beauty,
that is all Ye know on Earth,
that is all Ye need to know..." - John Keats

Sonnet to the Crystal Wind...

Breeze flows through those curtains of doubt,
fluttering into the waves of trepidations, the fine cloth,
and the goosebumps on the unsuspecting arms...
Purpose, meaning and yes, joy,
a tiny shiver right from the fine hair behind the neck,
to the lost multitudes of forgotten thoughts...

Small shock, knocking a sound asleep child,
jerking awake the forgotten smiles, and with that,
surfacing loss, and the value amidst what is gained...
Shock subsides, shiver gives way to warmth,
and curled in the warm woolen shawl, asleep,
smiles the boy, gone and back from past...

After all, it was that breeze, the crystal wind,
which brings tidings from rain and the sweet mist of fall...
