"Beauty is truth,
truth beauty,
that is all Ye know on Earth,
that is all Ye need to know..." - John Keats

Dream Narrative One...

So many times, across the ocean,
I have flied and I have freed...
So many times, across the mountains,
I have ran and I have reached...

But this is the time,
this is the moment,
this is the day,
I hadn't seen...

But this is the trial, of the darkness,
this is the ordeal from which we flee...
Through the time, and the oceans,
with shackles bolted to our feet...

This is the time,
this is the moment,
this is the day,
this is the street, that I had in my dream...

This is the street, and the waters
flow from those leaking creaks...
This is the land, under the ocean,
that had haunted all my sleep...

So many times, in the sleepless
nights, I have heard you scream...
So many times, in the restless
moments have I felt you breath...

But darkness comes, likes the waves of an ocean,
and plants my heart in a dreaded reef...
I stretch to land my hands on reason
I seek out absent, respite and peace...

So many times, I have tried to say this,
so many times, I have but screamed...
But now in slight moaning motion,
I penned down, what happened in that dream...

Nice to be able to catch a dream.

I loved the surreal tinge in this poem; “I stretch to land my hands on reason” says it all. I expansively enjoyed the spaces you drew;
“This is the time,
this is the moment,
this is the day,
this is the street, that I had in my dream...”
Beautiful poem creating so much of chaos in me, the allusions of time and space shifting back and forth from the real and illusive; loved it all the more because I really love the surreal. Great going Karthik.Thank you.

Hey, Hi...
a dream...hmm, i donno wat to say here...the dream is like a journey, anticipation, hurt, emotions...nice portrayal...
abt the writing, hmm, well to be honest, the second half seems different than the first half. its not like its not good, but its more like, the style of narration changes slightly...
overall its good, but i have seen you better...

This is one best of pieces i have read. Really the narration and the depth was all in perfect proportions.. A dream described in just the aptest(is it word anyway?) way.
